OUR MISSION
Silverbackz Athletics Association seeks to teach every student-athlete the discipline required to build Christian character, develop a sense of community, and to foster excellence in education, teamwork, and leadership through athletics and events. Brokenness exists in every area of life, including sport. We believe there is a remedy to the brokenness of the world in the gospel of Jesus. Athletes are hurting both personally and as part of sport-culture.
OUR FOUCUS
We believe in winning on and off the court. SAA in snot just about gaining skills and abilities for worldly achievements but developing God-like character to become productive adults. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, "Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us as eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

As a District Program under Silverbackz Athletics Association (SAA), you’ll have the opportunity to operate your own AAU basketball team with full organizational support, national exposure, and ministry partnership. Each district represents its local community while being part of a larger family focused on excellence both on and off the court.

Welcome to Silverbackz Athletics, where dedication, discipline, and development come first! Our 6th–9th Grade AAU Basketball Teams are built to help young athletes elevate their game — both on and off the court.
At this stage, players are introduced to advanced basketball concepts, strength and skill development, and the competitive mindset needed to succeed at the next level. Through elite training, teamwork, and competition, Silverbackz athletes learn how to perform with confidence, lead with character, and represent with pride.
Whether your goal is to improve your fundamentals, compete at the highest level, or prepare for high school varsity play, Silverbackz Athletics provides the environment, coaching, and support to make it happen.

The CTA Basketball Circuit Team (Coach Thomas Academy), powered by Silverbackz Athletics, is built for elite competitors ready to test their game on the national stage.
Our program brings together the top 10th–11th grade athletes to compete in some of the most respected circuits in the country — including the Adidas 3SSB Circuit and Prep Hoops Events.
This team is designed for players who want more than just competition — it’s for those who are committed to training, discipline, exposure, and development at the highest level. Through advanced skill work, team strategy, and national travel play, CTA athletes gain the tools, experience, and visibility needed to take their game to college and beyond.

A Second Chance to Be Seen. A First Step Toward College Success.
The DPG Postgraduate Basketball Program, powered by Silverbackz Athletics, is designed for high school graduates who want one more opportunity to develop, compete, and get noticed by college coaches.
Each player in the DPG program will:
- Earn college credits part-time through Southern Union Community College
- Train daily with professional-level coaching and structured skill development
- Compete against NCAA Division II, Division III, JUCO, and elite AAU teams for maximum exposure and recruitment opportunities
