OUR MISSION
Silverbackz Athletics Association seeks to teach every student-athlete the discipline required to build Christian character, develop a sense of community, and to foster excellence in education, teamwork, and leadership through athletics and events. Brokenness exists in every area of life, including sport. We believe there is a remedy to the brokenness of the world in the gospel of Jesus. Athletes are hurting both personally and as part of sport-culture.
OUR FOCUS
We believe in winning on and off the court. SAA in snot just about gaining skills and abilities for worldly achievements but developing God-like character to become productive adults. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, "Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us as eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

JASMYN THOMAS 34PT GAME
Jasmyn Thomas is playing lights-out basketball at Andrew College, running the show at point guard and making a serious impact. She delivered a signature 34-point performance, leading her team to an 8–0 home record and a 3–1 start in conference play. Her poise, scoring ability, and floor leadership have been on full display—setting the tempo, making the right reads, and stepping up when it matters most. Jasmyn is proving she’s not just a scorer, but a true floor general who elevates everyone around her.

Jordyn Cobb is dominating in the paint at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, making her presence felt every night as a powerful, relentless power forward. Her consistent double-double performances have earned her Player of the Week honors, and it’s easy to see why. Jordyn controls the glass, finishes strong around the rim, and brings toughness and energy that sets the tone for her team. Whether it’s scoring, rebounding, or doing the dirty work, she shows up and produces—night after night.

The program is described with a mission that blends athletic development, skill growth, exposure to college coaches, basketball IQ, and character/faith-based values. Playing against other elite girls’ teams from around the country in a recognized shoe-circuit. This is arguably one of the top grassroots pipelines for travel basketball now.
