OUR MISSION
Silverbackz Athletics Association seeks to teach every student-athlete the discipline required to build Christian character, develop a sense of community, and to foster excellence in education, teamwork, and leadership through athletics and events. Brokenness exists in every area of life, including sport. We believe there is a remedy to the brokenness of the world in the gospel of Jesus. Athletes are hurting both personally and as part of sport-culture.
OUR FOCUS
We believe in winning on and off the court. SAA in snot just about gaining skills and abilities for worldly achievements but developing God-like character to become productive adults. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, "Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us as eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
CTA BASKETBALL TRAINING INTRODUCES SILVERBACKZ 1ON1 TRAINING MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
CTA Basketball is excited to welcome Jadarian Holloway (Swag) to the staff as our new Junior Trainer!
Swag will be working with athletes ages 5–12, specializing in 1-on-1 skill development training focused on fundamentals, confidence building, ball handling, shooting, and overall basketball IQ. His energy, passion, and experience make him a great addition to helping our young players grow on and off the court.
Jadarian Holloway – Class of 2026 – Point Guard
Jadarian Holloway is a standout point guard in the Class of 2026 at Opelika High School. Recognized as an All-Area MVP, Jadarian continues to make a major impact on the court with his leadership, skill, and competitive drive. Averaging 15 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals per game, he consistently sets the tone offensively while applying relentless pressure on defense. His ability to control the tempo, create scoring opportunities, and defend at a high level makes him a key asset to his team.
Jadarian’s work ethic and passion for the game separate him from the competition, and his continued development positions him as one of the top rising guards in his class.

The program is described with a mission that blends athletic development, skill growth, exposure to college coaches, basketball IQ, and character/faith-based values. Playing against other elite girls’ teams from around the country in a recognized shoe-circuit. This is arguably one of the top grassroots pipelines for travel basketball now.

The JR Silverbackz travel basketball teams, exists to build Christian character, community, and leadership through athletics.
