The stated goal: not just developing basketball skills, but also “growth, competition, and recruitment opportunities,” giving players exposure to college coaches and scouts.  We emphasize “character, leadership, and discipline indicating an interest in personal development beyond just athletic performance. 

 The program is described with a mission that blends athletic development, skill growth, exposure to college coaches, basketball IQ, and character/faith-based values. Playing against other elite girls’ teams from around the country in a recognized circuit. This is arguably one of the top grassroots pipelines for travel basketball now. 

The JR Silverbackz travel basketball teams, exists to build Christian character, community, and leadership through athletics. The program focuses on developing athletes both on and off the court—teaching discipline, teamwork, leadership, and life skills rooted in gospel values, with the goal of helping players.
